World Book Day
1st to 6th class enjoyed quizzes based on books using the app Blooket.
We enjoyed paired reading as part of World Book Day.

Féile Ficheall
5th, 6th and 5 pupils from 4th class took part in a chess tournament in Dromore NS. This was a fantastic experience. All children played really well and won many of their games. The children were fully engaged in the chess and were extremely well behaved.
Senior Room – Peaceplus Aspire
5th and 6th class had another great day with 5th and 6th from St Baithin’s part of Peaceplus Aspire.
Children did St Patrick’s Day themed art, a hip hop workshop with Pinehill Dance, an African drumming workshop and played board games and chess.
Mindfulness
We really enjoyed our sessions with Máire. She taught us to love ourselves for who we are and taught us ways to cope and deal with difficult life situations we may face. Children enjoyed looking after themselves and taking time out just for themselves.
Senior Room – Michelangelo
We learned about artist Michelangelo and looked at his amazing work on the Distine Chapel. We had great fun, lying on our back painting like Michelangelo. How did he do such amazing work!!
Chess
5th and 6th class have been very busy practicing Chess ahead of the Féile Ficheall.
PeacePlus Gymnastics
5th and 6th class enjoyed their first gymnastics sessions with 5th and 6th class from St Baithin’s as part of our PeacePlus Aspire shared education programme.
